I know the BellySwap dog raincoat was designed to keep our best friends dry and clean in rainy and wet conditions, but some of us live half our lives in a frozen, snowy wasteland in the Midwest. We have found the raincoat works pretty slick as a winter overcoat, as well. It's easy to put on and adjust, and my Bichon, Rosie, seems to love the comfort of being wrapped in the coat. (She can be a pain when we try to put her in other types of coats, but never fights us with the BellySwap coat.) 

When the snow begins to melt, the ground becomes a slushy mess, and so I love that I can simply swap out the belly wrap for a clean one as needed. (Plus I think Rosie likes to color coordinate her wardrobe to her mood -- she's a bit of a diva -- so having belly wraps of different colors is great!) I know the people at BellySwap have put a lot of thought and effort into the design of these coats, and it shows. I can't recommend them strongly enough! Worth every penny!

Sumo is a 1 yr old corgi. I tried several raincoats which he didn't like because of the leg straps and tight fit at the neck. The BellySwap raincoat was a godsend because I didn't have to use the leg straps to keep the coat on his back and the large neck hole and wide face covering made it easy to put on without him fighting me. The velcro straps also made it quick & easy to adjust the raincoat. My daughter said this was expensive but I think it's worth it because of the quality of the fabric and anxiety free for my dog. I highly recommend this raincoat and would buy it again if I got another dog.

I really believe in buying better, buying less, and supporting small businesses, so I was excited to find BellySwap. My dog Georgie is a senior rescue from a local shelter. She’s very thin and doesn’t tolerate the cold well, so she’s usually wearing a sweater. I was looking for a jacket that would be easy to put on and fit comfortably over her sweater and harness for our walks.

The BellySwap raincoat is absolutely adorable on Georgie, and the hoodie is perfect for keeping her cozy. I especially appreciate the adjustable belly wrap, which works so well for her thin build. It’s easy to clean, beautifully made, and you can really tell the materials and craftsmanship are high quality. It’s been a great find for us.

The first thing I noticed when I got my BellySwap raincoat for my dog Teddy was the incredible fit as if it was tailored just for him. Most of the jackets that I get for him the length is too long, or they don’t fit around his body, and they did not keep him dry. This is the only raincoat that I have seen or purchased that has an under-belly wrap that can be custom fit using the hook & loop tabs on each side of the jacket. It keeps him clean and dry when we walk in the rain.

I walk Teddy using a harness and my biggest frustration with our previous raincoats is that they either did not have an opening for the metal rings to hook the leash on or they were so small that I had to struggle to thread the rings through. With the raincoat the opening for the harness rings is perfectly positioned and wide enough to easily clip the leash on. The hood design is genius as it covers his head but roomy enough that it does not bother him. This jacket also keeps him warm as the fleece lining is throughout including the hood, something the others never did.

The jacket material is sleek, durable and looks good plus you can throw it in the wash for easy cleanup. It seems like the coat was designed to be easy to put on/take off so there is no stress getting Teddy ready for a walk.

I can honestly say that I will never buy a different raincoat for Teddy or any dog I might have in the future.

Bowie is a very anxious 6 year old 12 pound rescue pup that absolutely hates the rain and being touched. I used the BellySwap jacket on him and not only did it fit him perfectly, he waltzed right out of the house no problem on a rainy morning.  The jacket is super easy to put on him and he didn't complain at all like he does with other raincoats. Once outside, the rain slipped right off the material without getting him wet.

The hood is the perfect design as it holds perfectly above his head without blocking his view.  Best part – because of the removable belly wrap, it was super easy to put it on him and take it off. And he was completely dry and clean!  I didn't have to worry about the house getting dirty and I didn't need to wipe him down, which made him super happy. 

Happy Dog, Happy life.... We'll be using this every rainy day!

My dogs rocked their BellySwap coats on our recent beach trip! The brisk ocean air was no match for them — they stayed warm, dry, and totally comfortable the whole time. I also loved that the fabric didn’t hold onto sand, which made cleanup easy after running around on the beach. Stylish, practical, and beach-proof — we couldn’t have asked for better coats!

Shelby is my little girl who barely tips the scales at just 5 pounds and is a rescue! We believe she’s around 10 years old. I recently got her the BellySwap raincoat and let me just say, it’s a total game-changer! 

She’s not a fan of harnesses or anything going over her head! She has turned her nose up at all the cute outfits I’ve tried to dress her in, but when it came to BellySwap she barely blinked an eye while I slipped it on her! The belly wrap is truly what makes it so easy to put on AND adjust to her tiny body! 

The quality is top-notch, the design is fabulous, and the detailed stitching is like nothing I’ve ever seen for a doggie raincoat! 

Seriously, it’s one of a kind. And you should see her strut her stuff in it—she’s got a little swagger going on! A big thank you to BellySwap for this gem, and I can't wait to see what other fabulous creations you come up with next!

BellySwap is beautifully designed and the removable, adjustable belly wrap is genius. Being able to quickly swap it out, rinse it, and attach a clean one makes everyday use incredibly practical. The fit is functional without being restrictive, and the hood and reflective details add both comfort and safety.

Charlie Angel is what we lovingly call a “low rider”, her belly hangs low, and BellySwap protects her underside perfectly. We no longer have to give her a full bath every time it rains (which she absolutely does not enjoy!). That feature alone has been a game changer for us.

As a Swedish nurse, quality, sustainability, and longevity matter to me, and BellySwap delivers. It’s simple, smart, and built to last.

We have a very wet/cold-averse Italian Greyhound mix, and this is the first raincoat that actually keeps his back, belly, and chest warm and completely clean and dry. The belly wrap design works, is simple to put on / take off, and it doesn’t restrict his movement. He stays warm, dry, and he doesn’t attempt to take it off like the other options we’ve tried. Surprisingly effective raincoat! 

Finally, it’s here — Molly’s raincoat! It fits perfectly, and she no longer ends up wet or dirty. Molly, who’s always cold, now stays warm and, best of all, clean and dry around her belly. The removable belly wrap is so practical — super easy to take off and rinse clean. A fantastic raincoat that truly makes a difference!

Wow! The best dog raincoat ever! We've tried a LOT of different brands, with little success. We spend a lot of time outdoors and our dog must be comfortable. This is the perfect fit for our Bamse – he is happy, dry and warm, and can move around comfortably and play with his friends. We just love the BellySwap raincoat!

Otto is not a big fan of the rain. He often sticks alongside the house and under the deck where it's drier and wants to come back in as soon as possible. With his BellySwap on he now loves going outside in the rain and we often have to convince him to come back inside. And when he does, he’s dry head to tail and he has a clean belly too. And he looks sharp wearing it.
